Biography

M. Asaduzzaman received the B. Sc. and M. Sc. degrees in Physics from the Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh, with first class first position in MSc. His main research field is theoretical and computational plasma physics, which involves nonlinear structures (particularly, solitons, shock waves, and Double layers, etc.) in space and astrophysical plasmas (fully/partially ionized, uniform/non-uniform complex plasmas), as well as different collective processes (waves, instabilities, nonlinear coherent structures, etc.) in laboratory plasmas. Currently, he is also continuing his research activities on Alfven waves, non-extensive plasma, space and astrophysical plasma, quantum hydrodynamic plasma, highly collisional semiconductor plasma, multi-ion plasmas, degenerate quantum plasmas, relativistic plasmas, wave packets analysis using nonlinear Schrodinger equation, plasma instabilities, etc.

 

M. Asaduzzaman has already supervised a few numbers of students at Jahangirnagar University. He has published more than 23 papers in international peer-reviewed journals with some conference papers. He has been cited more than 589 with an h-index of 15 and an i10-index of 17 in Google Scholar citations. Before joining as a Lecturer under the Department, Institute of Natural Sciences at United International University, Madani Avenue, Dhaka from 2014 to till date, he was a Lecturer with the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering, East West University, Dhaka from 2012-2013.

 

Beyond excellent academic performance, M. Asaduzzaman has obtained several certificates in different cultural activities and sports in different spans of study. Mr. M. Asaduzzaman has been awarded several scholarships, namely, the United Group Outstanding Paper Award-2016, Primary Scholarship, Junior Scholarship, University Scholarship, Lions Foundation Scholarship, etc.
